Stories are powerful…
In fact,
This castle is a part of my story…
Once upon a time, in a castle far away across the sea lived a little girl who was cautious and curious and loved flowers.
When this girl returned with her parents back to the land from which they had come from she started the second grade where she learned that not everyone believes in the truth and that there are Important Rules that all citizens know. And … if one is to survive in this strange land, one must follow these rules or risk being cast out.
This collective wisdom was so strong that over the years the little girl began to wonder if she really had lived in a castle…Did she perhaps make the whole thing up?
Sometimes the truth is hard to believe but that doesn’t make it any less true. And what is actually true … can make all the difference.

FAQs
Do you take insurance?
Because coaching is not considered a medical necessity, insurance coverage does not apply.
Why coaching?
Coaching is simply the best way that I have found to come alongside, support, and guide people out of dark places . There are many other ways that one might do this (counseling, therapy, friendship, mentoring…) but, for me, coaching feels like the most authentic fit. Cultivating coaching relationships with pastor's wives allows me to take a non-pathologizing perspective on healing, to be a co-laborer with you on mission, and to help you see changes as quickly as possible.
What is the cost?
Coaching is definitely an investment, in time, money and emotional energy. And…staying stuck is also an investment. The question is which investment can you afford more?
The financial investment of my Re-story coaching program is $2700 and takes place across four months.
If money is an issue (as it is for many pastor’s wives), I have found that when asked, churches are typically quite happy to invest in the health of their pastor’s family. If you’d like a letter that you can use to ask your church’s leadership for help, I wrote one for you.
How long does change really take?
Change can take a long time. And, change can also happen in the blink of an eye. The amazing thing about recent studies on how our brains and bodies are designed to heal from trauma is that the brain’s natural process of memory reconsolidation can facilitate change much more quickly than we originally thought possible. This is what I’ve learned how to facilitate and what I’d love to show you how to do too.
How can I learn more?
